We’re thrilled to announce a groundbreaking step forward for our farm’s legacy of soil stewardship! Partnering with the Mendocino Resource Conservation District, we’ve launched a comprehensive soil survey to analyze structure, organic matter, compaction, and nutrient levels across our land.

As one of the first farmers in the region to champion cover crops generations ago, we’ve long prioritized preventing erosion and conserving water through innovative practices. Now, this cutting-edge soil survey marks the beginning of a science-driven plan to boost soil fertility and ensure our farm’s resilience for years to come—proof that when it comes to healthy soil, we’re all in for the win!
