Crafted from the rare and elusive Sierra Beauty apple, which was virtually extinct except for the protected trees thriving at Gowan's. This still wine-style cider is a beautiful gold color with rich apple aromatics. Bold and savory, it pairs great with food. Discover hints of shade flowers, apple-bread, baking spices, citrus and stone fruit. Wood-aged notes are naturally part of this rare apple’s rich flavor. Spiritous (warming) and full bodied.
Thought to be extinct, researchers were ecstatic to discover this rare native California apple thriving in Gowan's family orchards. The Sierra Beauty apple is prized for its complex flavor, great acid, and superior baking properties. Excellent for juicing and as a unique and one-of-a-kind single varietal cider—the only one on the market.
